How to enable GOD MODE in Windows 7

There are certain features in Windows 7 that are hidden by default in the Operating System. But you can enable them by doing some tweaks. One such feature that is hidden by default is the "GOD MODE" feature.
GOD MODE lists all the settings together which includes Action Center, Administrative Tools, Backup & Restore, Drive Encryption, Access Center, Parental Control, etc. and you can directly change the settings from there.

Here's how to enable it:

Step 1: Right Click on your desktop. Go to NEW and create a NEW FOLDER.

Step 2: Rename the folder as below:

How to Split and Join files using HJSplit ?

Hello everyone, i'm back after a long time, i hope u guys have been visiting my blog. Today, in this post, i am going to tell you about a small but powerful freeware program for splitting and recombining files. This program is called "HJSplit". It is available for both Windows and Linux Platform.

Why should one want to Split and Re-Combine files ?
1. For instance, think of a file of size 2.5 GB and your friend wants to take it from you but he has only a 2GB pendrive, so he can't take the file in one go. Using this tool, you can Split that file into two or multiple files and then you can transfer it very easily.

2. HJSplit can also be useful when you want to upload a huge file to a FTP server because it is usually easier to send/receive, upload/download smaller parts than handling the entire file in one go.

3. HJSplit can also be used for backups. For example, A file of 12 GB file can be split into multiple smaller parts which then can be burned to CD's, DVD's, copied to USB sticks or uploaded to a online backup service.

How to install and use the tool?
Follow the Step by step tutorial below:
1. After downloading the file, run the HJSplit.exe file (for windows users).

2. Click on "Split" (if u want to split a file) , "Join" (for joining splitted files into a single file) or "Checksum" (for checking MD5 sum of an OS). Here, i am going to show you how to split a file:

4. Click on "Input File" to browse the file which you want to split.

5. Define the output location by clicking on "Output".

6. Then enter a value for "Split file size" either in Kilobytes or Megabytes.

8. Wait for some minutes (depends on the file size) and done!!!!!!

How to change the default Windows 7 start orbit

Start button changer is a tool by which you can easily change the default start button of your Windows 7 desktop easily. There are a variety of buttons available for download, you can even create your own start orbits if you have a little knowledge about Photoshop, GIMP, etc.
