Micromax has finally launched its long awaited budget Quad-core processor smartphone called "Micromax Canvas A116 HD". They made it available for booking on their official website from 14th February, 2013 at an amazing price of Rs. 13,990. The company claims that it will take about 5 to 7 days for shipping but they didn't made the Cash on delivery option yet.
The Micromax Canvas A116 HD is the successor of their most popular phablet "Canvas A110". The Micromax A116 HD is powered by Mediatek's MT6589 quad-core processor that is clocked at 1.2 GHz. It has a 12.7cms 5 inch IPS HD display having a resolution of 1280x720 and has a color depth of 16.7 million at 294ppi (pixel per inch). It has a RAM of 1GB and internal memory of 4GB out of which 1.7GB is user accessible. It runs on the Google's Android Jellybean 4.1.2 OS.
Coming to the camera, its has a 8 megapixel primary camera with a flash and a 2 megapixel secondary camera at the front for video calling. It has a 2000mAh battery which is quite good for a 5 inch display.
